你提到的听到一个单词要想很久才知道意思，一方面是单词的词汇量和熟练程度还没有达到一定水平，一方面要加强单词记忆和复习，还要每天坚持听日语，从简单的开始，听的时候先不要看课文或字幕，然后自己思考完了再去对比答案，可能开始反应速度会很慢，但是日积月累就会加强。

教材光靠看懂了是没有用的，开始的基本学习就是背课文。可能很笨，但是大学里的日语初级阶段都是这么学习的，因为首先要培养语感，而熟练地背诵课文是巩固语法，巩固语感的佳方式。

五十音图，如果连这个您都没毅力搞定的话，那我还是劝您早点放弃学日语的念头，一门语言的学习将可能是很枯燥的，您可能不太适应的，也或许您还有其他重要的事情，还是别在日语上浪费时间吧。可以先听一下本站提供的五十音图发音，可以参考。在学五十音图一定要平假名片假名对应着记，不少人学了很久都不认识片假名，就是刚开始学习假名的方法不对造成了。

刚开始可以每天学习两行，第一天学习あ行5个和か行5个，自己找张纸多练练，熟能生巧的道理再简单不过了吧。注意要能把平假名和片假名对应起来。边写嘴里边念，加深印象。等到学到了一定的行数，自己可以找后面课文里的单词，自己组成词写，比如わたし，あなた，这样边练习假名的书写记忆，边熟悉一些日后要学习的单词。

每一课后面都有语法，还有例句，首先当然要把语法的一些分析和例句看懂了，然后要自己练习造句。每个语法的每个用法都一一造几个句子，就像我们上小学的时候练习造句一样，起到巩固语法和灵活运用的作用。好找老师帮你看看造的句子语法通不通，有没有什么问题。

单词是语言的基础，那么语法就是课文的基础了，一般在每篇课文后都有这篇课文中出现的语法，语法归根到底还是需要记忆的，首先先把他们背过就可以了，在这个基础上见的多了就能总结出来规律并学会运用了。

这里是要介绍一种笔者认为很好的背日语单词的方法：首先找一个无人打扰的环境，保证心无旁骛的在背日语单词的这段时间注意力足够集中。一天背300个单词：早晨练30分钟，中午练20分钟，晚上再练10分钟。单词量可以一开始定的少一点，当头脑适应了这样的记忆方式，背日语单词的速度提高了之后，可以适当增加每天要背的单词量。

一天内分时间背日语单词一定要和坚持放在一起才有效果，如果只是两天打鱼三天晒网的话，什么方法都不会使被日语单词变得又快又好。第一天记过的单词通过晚上的快速记忆一遍之后，转天早上在被新的日语单词之前，把前一天的单词再背一遍。把记不住的写下来，弄成一个单词本，专门记录这些转天早上忘记的日语单词，这个本子里的单词每天晚上和早上都看一遍，经过几天的反复记忆，一定能够记住。
